Is it possible and what all would I have to do? The trailer is 17'long and 7ft wide.
I don't care about the enclosure I just need a care hauler. Here are some pictures of it. Any help would be greatly helpful. I don't know what the differences are between a car hauler and a live stock trailer. I don't have the money to go and buy a car hauler but I sure need one.

Thank you

First step would be to take note on how the frame and decking are constructed. I would think that the frame is adequate especially being a goose neck. check out the cross bars supporting the deck. What size material and the spacing.

It has brakes. He told me that it has 8 lug wheels so there pretty heavy axles. I am waiting on pics of the underneath and inside of it. I will post them as some as I get them. He wants $900 is it worth it? He has all the tin that goes on it just the ply wood behind the tin on the sides and top rotted.

You may be able to find a car hauler in that price range and you wont have to go thru that work and expense. Even if you spend an extra $500. you'll come out ahead.

A lot of trailers like that use the framing for necessary support for the main frame. The frame alone may not be sufficient to support the base with the upper framing removed.

If you can weld, you can certainly turn those parts into a nice car hauler.

I can weld a little bit but I got some friends that weld for a living. What all do you recommend I do to it?

I like the idea of the upper deck on the goose neck for storage or even using it for hauling a small quad, motorcycles ect. Also the car will be better protected from rocks and other debris. Hope it works out for you.

That's a good call I could leave the frame over the deck on the goose neck and cover it. Would make great storage and help with wind.
