I did not verify all parts available or cost. I would assume the wiring harness would be different also and need modification or replacement.

i'm about to jump into this topic as well to create a void above for a new touchscreen head unit install (either iPad mini or alpine ILX-007). this can be done, and the bezel exists on eBay to make it look 'OEM'. now, i'm just trying to find the clock assembly and the lower climate module and related parts/harnesses from salvages vehicles to keep costs down. anyone know where to look, other than www dot car dash part dot com??

Soon, we'll all be able to use our OEM nav screen for Apple Car play, and forego expensive modifications.... they are just waiting for apple to authorize the license, the beta tests are over and the technology is ready. android version is already on the market (2nd link). i just spoke directly with the project lead at grom yesterday (december 8, 2016).

I'm very interested to see how these different options pan out. It's absolutely fantastic that we are starting to see upgrade/mod options for the OEM NAV/Climate System.

I'm having issues with my OEM amp causing no sound to be emitted from my system intermittently and I'm thinking that when I get around to fixing it I'd like to go all the way with one of these upgrades.

There's a few people on here that have attempted to install your product and ran into problems that have prevented them from using it.

I think there is a lot of interest in your product, but people are leery of buying without strong product support or even installation instructions. I would purchase your system if I knew I could make it work properly.

Can you put together a detailed and clear installation manual?

The new product picture you posted, seems to be for 2003+ non-nav vehicles, which are pretty rare in the US.

On an unrelated note, what is the relationship between your product and the NAVIAV product?
