the radio on my Accord just died.
I was thinking I'd get an aftermarket new one. But can you connect it readily to the existing wiring, maybe with a pigtail that ends in the correct OEM style connector so you don't have to cut and splice a ton of wires? Do these adapters exist? Where?

I'll bet Crutchfield makes any adapter you need.

Ditto - good prices and they'll generally throw in the wiring harness for your specific vehicle Eric. If you can then splice color coded wires for about 10 minutes you're good to go. I had no troube at all with the double to single din kit an wiring harness they provided when I tossed the crap double din radio out of my commuter Miata. Most radios use a standard color coding scheme and if not Crutchfield will provide you with a simple wiring diagram for your Accord.

Wiring harnesses, car wiring harness, car stereo wires, metra, best harness, into car, into radio, harness, car stereo, factory radio, pioneer, kenwood, clarion, eclipse Metra makes harness for Hondas. You might even be able to pick up the correct harness at your Walmart. Usually these harnesses plug into the factory car harness and then you wire them to the new radio harness. Most are completely bonehead proof. Yellow to Yellow, Purple to Purple, Purple with black stripe to Purple with black stripe, etc....

E's going to know how well engineered it is tho. :flipoff2:

The harnesses Crutchfield provides with units they sell are just as described.
