for those of you mudders, who have put a cone air filter on the intake system for the fj62, how did you fit it onto the MAF box, any inquiery would be much appreciated

To my knowledge, no one has. I used a K&N air filter several years ago for a while, but it honestly didn't do jack for performance or mileage. The OEM paper filter has a TON of surface area, so there's really no flow restriction for our engines when running the stock filter.
Personally, I'd never run a K&N or similar filter again, just because the larger pores will let larger dust particles into the engine and will score the cylinder walls pretty badly over time.

irregardless of the performance changes, i just want to know how you connected it to the MAF box. help on that is top priority at this point in time
