how are the the front hangers installed? Are the bolted or welded? Is there any other cutting involved in the install?

You need to blow out the front bumper rivets (torch, plasma, cutter etc..) there will be 4 holes on the side and I think one on the bottom. You slide the front hanger inbetween the frame and front bumper C channel. Installed new bolts in place of the rivets, tighten and then weld.

Also this will throw off your stock bumper location so you'll need to drill new holes on the bumper C channels.

that makes sense. And you use the rear hangers for the new shackels?

Kit comes with new hangers for the front-rear, if that makes sense.

It's a kit from Mana-fre. Check it out, they show all the parts in the of the pictures.

But keep the questions coming, I'm glad to help. I asked plenty of questions during my build.

Couild you please post close-ups of the SR brackets installed?

My front bumper kinda evolved to include a cluster !!!! snowplow mount which normal shackles would hit (I have 5"ers now thanks to the PO). Only way to clear the plow mount seems to be to use the SR. But then the new bumper mount is 3/8" plate, so I don't think I could squeeze the SR in there if it mounts on the same side of the frame.

how many degrees of shims did you end up using?

What are the details on the new paint? What went into the prep and how much did it cost?

The paint was a gift from my father in law. He picked up the cruiser a few weeks before xmas and had it painted and tinted by xmas day.

Call me crazy but shouldnt those anti-inversion shackles be the other way around... meaning shouldnt the be on the rear bumper side?

x2, you did a reversal in the back too? Why?

On the rear...it keeps them from inverting forward on the frame....so lees droop...more compression. Since it is very steep (nearly vertical) it makes sense to have them thi way.

What adamsclarke said :-) I looked at a couple of other cruisers for reference, you can see them that on the MAF rig pic where they list the kit, it's hard to see but you can make it out.

I just finished installing my lift, and looks as if the divers side is lower. Its about one inch or so lower? Did you have this issue at all? Thanks I will take some pics...

Hmmmm, interesting I ran the anti-inversion shackles in the rear (rear bumper side) that way the tires swing away from the rear door and swing back when going over a bump... I'm interested on how that set up works for ya.

Yeah it had the famous cruiser lean. I think it went away by now. I'll try to take a pic of the rear, it was always most noticeable from the rear.

Your rear shackle triangle points inward/towards the front, right (based on the pics)? or does it face the rear?
