New tire rod installed tonight with new ends “Kurtesy” Cruiser Outfitters, toe in set. I’ll get the steering relay rod done Saturday. Super looking and fantastic quality, on to the rocks next week.

is there a need to powder coat the bar or fine to leave bare aluminum? (believe aluminum is corrosion resistant)

The copper bearing Al alloys (60XX, 70XX) should be anodized on all exposed surfaces.

oh man, that sounds brutal! flat rock doing that kinda damage shows how tough those roads can get. glad u switched to the 7075 drag link, those high-grade materials really make a difference when ur off-roading or hitting rough terrain. if u’re pulling the engine, maybe double-check all suspension parts too while u’re at it, just to avoid surprises later. hope the rest of the shop 80s holds up better.
