Once I get my sliders on, i kinda want to see how much my truck weighs loaded up.

Anyone in Colorado (denver metro/boulder area) work at a place with a truck scale? Like a gravel company, etc. Or know of a place I can weigh my truck for as little as possible (preferably free)?

just go to a gravel yard and ask em if you can pay 'em a ten-spot to weigh you w/o buying.

However, that money could also pay for some gravel: a HD tarp or plastic trash cans help keep it tidy.

Yeah, since you're in boulder, go to the stone yard south on 92 or go to the one east of the boulder dump. Just roll through the scale, I think it shows the weight on a screen. Then, don't buy any stones. I've been to both locations many times. There's also the flagstone yard up north of boulder, been there too.

there is a recycle place about a block north of I-70 off Colorado Blvd that i've used.

I've been to Pioneer on Valmont a few times.

If you don't need it "certified" (which there is no need for) they will let you pull onto the scales and hand you a sticky with the weight. I did front and rear axles seperatly and a total weight by pulling on to the scales front first, then both, then back.

call first and let them know what you want to do. they were really nice to me.

Post up what your rig weighs. From what I remember, my rig weighs in around 6k with my old M416, so somewhere around 5500lbs.

My truck weights some where between 5800 and 6K.

Some truck stops have scales...don't think its to expensive to use one of those, but free is good too. Another place to look might be a farm supply store (if you are in a rural area as they use scales every day for bulk stuff they sell.
