Nice options. I too have been considering the eminent repaint of my 80. It sat outside way to much and the hood and roof are loosing color/clear. I have considered a color change but really not sure I want to do that. I brought this up after I got my 80 last year and according to some purist on here it shoudl cost you $6K to get a quality repaint.

Ya', it's silly, to me, to spend even 3K on a paintjob on a 6-8K truck, even a 10K truck, that is going to get used offroad. If and when I do mine, my color choices will likely be dictated by Duplicolor Paint Shop system..... I'm thinking black, grey and white camo would work well to hide my skills (or lack of therefore), and would work without worrying about jams since the truck is already white.

Guess if I did sour apple, I'd have to do jams... but then I'd also have to do Mayan gold rims - anyone wanna photoshop that for me?

while your at it, how about flat black with Hot Rod Red wheels ......

I've been digging the Lexus "Matador Red Mica". Too bad my original color is Dark Gray/Blue Slate with gray interior.

Did any year come with a black interior?

Red looks pretty good, but I like others better.

Pumpkin Orange - I really like this, but it is a bit LR Discovery-esque

Olive Drab (flat) - Nice, but I still think Tan is the best

Lime Green - Sorry, don't like it at all. But even if you did, my guess is you wouldn't like it in a year or two, or three. And good luck selling it.

Two-Tone OD Green/Tan (flat) - This is pretty cool, but I still think TAN is the best color. Just like FJ40s. Did I mention I like tan?

Two-Tone Blue/White - Oh sweet mercy!!!! It's a Toyota S-10 Blazer!!!!!!!

Don't stop - I like seeing all the different color combinations. I would have thought a bright orange 80 would look bad, till I saw Marks, would have thought flat black with red would look o.k., it doesn't, unless you skull it....

last ones from another angle then I promise I will stop.

Different angle this time.

This one knocked me on my ass! But I thought it was a green...almost a charcoal sage pearl:)

Picking up a Dark Emerald Pearl next weekend and the hood is faded pretty good but the rest is good so not requiring a repaint. Any Ideas of colors to cover the center hood section similar to the ones here. Desert Tan maybe and then also the wheel flares. It's really only the center section of the hood that is bad. Any thoughts or photo shops for me?
Thanks,

I love the tan/OD green combination. Id do the flares green as well or delete them (mine are long gone).

If I ever redo mine thats the combo man>
