Been shopping 200s. What’s the general consensus on this reddish color? Not sure what toyota calls it. I’m wondering if in the long run will it holds its value or be a desirable color down the road. I’m not real fond of it. Sorta looks like an old-lady color. Am I wrong and need to change my thinking?

there was literally a thread not that long ago about people who love the Salsa Red!
Its a LC it will keep its value

Love it. Is that the 3 owner truck that's in MO? That's a good price and the truck looks clean I'd just be a bit concerned about the multiple owners.

I love the color. Had a 07 Tundra in that color and now the 08 LC. It matches my company colors so I'm a bit biased. Silver would've been better but with two kids the black interior was a no go.

Those are pretty rare. Most common colors seem to be white, black, and magnetic gray.

I doubt color has much impact on Landcruiser values.

it is fun when joining a group of 200s, all of which seem to be grey or black and throwing some serious color into the mix.

Salasa red needs black pepper rims. Hehe. Ok, that was a bit lame but if you put some aggressive tires and blacked out wheels...it would look awesome. As it stands, it looks a little plain but that can be said with all the the colors without proper upgrading

Black rims and armor seem to make the red look more burgundy. I went with lighter grey/silver accessories to try to keep it light.
the burgundy was a popular color in the 80 series and many of them rock the bronze wheels.
would be fun to test fit a set of bronze colored Icon rebound wheels once they become available.
look at pictures of Kevinfoutch, romer, and rigger, I believe they all have salsa colored rigs. most with black wheels/bumpers/roof rack.

that is my favorite 200 color. I just saw one being built over at Slee. so sweet
If it was late last week, it might have been mine getting sliders and lift.

@TonyP is right, but all the 200 LC colors are nice IMHO. No colors that make you wonder what they were smoking when they mixed it. There's a couple of those in the 100 family.

To me it's personal taste, except for two things--

-Heat differences (black cooks an egg in summer & white is relatively cool)
-Dirt shows more/less (silver hides dust...others draw attention to crud)

Maybe those things matter to ya...maybe not.

this was about a month ago. i think it was shipped in from Seattle .

If the deal is really good, just get it professionally wrapped in any color you like...limitless options. But I like the red when the goodies are added. If I don’t buy another Gray one, I may get a Blue one.

i was actually thinking of this. The silver is nice but I've always liked the red of the 200s. i planned on getting a price on a wrap this week.

I won’t get a black vehicle, due to the heat and the difficulty keeping it clean. I also prefer a light color interior because it is cooler when you park in the sun. I know a lot of people like black interiors, but not for me.
