Just (last week) I received a sample but it needs to be revised. The color is off and I’d like a few more of the shapes refined before I can give an approval for production.
The base of the trim is actually very close. Weight and texture wise. Color is off so that’ll have be changed in the formula. Process like this generally has be revised various times until it’s correct. I don’t have a timeline yet as there needs some modifications to be made. I understand if you have to buy from a salvage yard. I don’t want to hold up any projects.
Any chance these could be made in an extended version that works with de-flared trucks?

Thank you so much for the update. I'm actively searching for a set, but please don't slow down the process. I'm very confident tons of people will need a set of these, and I may still be on the hunt. I've followed others who have done seat fabric matching and recreation of rare pieces for 1st Gen 4Runners and Pickups and understand the process can be tedious (especially color and texture matching) but the did eventually get there. Good luck, thank you for doing this for us, and please keep us posted. We're all pulling for ya!

Any updates on this? I am in for a set and the 40th anniv badges as well. (I do have one set of old OEM stock 40th badges that I purchased back when the local dlr was selling them as clearance items but would like to purchase an additional set.)
