I am traveling with the family (FSM at home). CEL comes on, but everything is running smoothly. Pull the code at local autoparts. It is 510 - Throttle Position Switch Malfuction.
I searched here, found a couple of threads about folks pulling the TPS Sensor before cleaning the throttle body. Someone else mentioned a crake or leak in the intake can cause that code. No cracks or leaks and I have not had the TB off.
Is 510 a problem with the actual sensor?
Where is the sensor?
Can it be tested or it is toast if that is the code?
