OK guys, here's for everyone who has had reasons not to make any of the summer wheeling events! The saturday after Thanksgiving at Rausch Creek! I know it's a holiday weekend but that's the good news and the bad news. I think we can have a good turnout for a day of wheeling, the colder weather always brings out some itneresting wheeling. I may not have the pig back on the road by then, if not I'll wheel my red (ex-Chris Breton) truck.

I'd like to get an early start- say, meet in the staging area by 8AM and be sorted into groups and out into the park by 8:30. We could be out of the park by 3PM or so, and maybe get together for a short club meeting. Last eyar's cold weather run was the best attended event this club has seen.

Anyone interested? let me know and do so by responding to this blurb. I am breaking in a new computer here at home (or better yet, it's breaking me in!!!) and don't have access to the email list of club members. Will send this same blurb out to everuyone via email hopefully from work one day this week.

Who's in????? Gary S

We'll be in western NC that weekend. Have a good time, guys.

me and dom are headed to tellico that weekend:grinpimp:, we're gonna meet up with jeff, Al and some florida guys...have fun at rausch:beer:

My birthday is the 26th so happy birthday to me. I think I will try to get to this one. Especially since Hildy is back in country and I need to get into the woods for my own mental well being. I'll check with Jeeper Jim he may be in as well.

Ah, sagittarius... that makes sense now. :D

Enjoy your run.

Birthday run for Chris! :bounce: I'm sure there will be a good turnout. I don't want to run the 40 @ Rausch so I ordered another set of LTBs for one of my 62s and a lockright for the rear. Already have a shackle lift on the 89 I can easily steal/swap so should be ready to go by the 29th, I can't wait!

Yes, I'll be there!

We already had the discussion about the wheeling the 40.;p Maybe I'll ride with you if you have a free seat. It will be fun to watch the show.

I don't know what that means Dan-O. Care to elaborate?

So who is gonna camp? I'll make some camp stew again.

Chris, no biggee. I'm a sagittarius too. Jeeper Jim once noted our dry humour... It's a good thing.

Welcome back, Hildy!! Are you back for good?

Thanks, but I'm still in the desert for about another week... Should be getting on a bird on the 23rd or 24th, and home by the 26th or 27th. I'm almost positive we'll be deploying again although not sure if I'll be back in the states for 12 or 24 months.

Chris, if I have a free seat you're free to ride with me. :steer: I'm sure my buddy Shawley will want to be my spotter again, my bro will probably come, and maybe a friend or two from my platoon will tag along for the ride.

I'll have to see if I can make it, would like to get out one more time before the snow starts to fly, and the boy should almost be a month old at that point, if he ever decides to be born :D

It is not a big deal. I just can't afford to beat up my junk right now. I have side wall gashes in 3 of my tires and don't have the cash to get new ones right now. I'm sure there will be a seat somewhere.

This was just getting too far down on the list so it's time for a post. Any of you candy dicks gonna camp for this?:D If so I will find something to throw into the dutch oven again. Turned out pretty good last time. I went to the camp fire for 20 min came back and the stew was gone.

Don't everyone speak at once....

I'll be in NC. Think I already said that, though.

Wheeling update

I just yesterday got the list of members and email adresses (thanks Rob). I recently upgraded computers and don't have my old email address book available. I plan to get a message out to all club members tomorrow or Thursday from my PC at work. I sent a blurb out to both VA groups and the Gotham City guys to welcome them to wheel with us. Here's what update I have on club members attending or not:

Matt Reed might wheel his 80 but probably will be a passenger.
Matt's buddy Rob will hopefully wheel his 80
Steve Colavito will not be there.
Hildy will be wheeling the 62 (watch out, you rocks!!!)
I'll be wheeling the 55.
Jeff Dozier can't make it.
Tom Humphries hoping to make it with his recently painted BJ70.
Chris Bury gonna be there may need a ride.
Bill Smith will be there probably wheeling the FJ. (40 not ready yet Bill???)
Haven't heard from either John or Craig Merkey.
Chris Breton may be able to make it, if so will need a seat.

I have XL T shirts from this year's pig run $15. If anyone wants one let me know. Gary
