i found the manual adjustment, but my gosh, with all the tech in this truck, the clock doesn't change automatically?

hopefully i'm missing something here...

Mine didn't. I just clicked on "clock" and then clicked the DST option, and it was done.

Actually, it does work automatically. You have to select the option for it to do so. Pretty simple stuff...... I figured it out and selected the Auto option inside of 20 seconds while driving on a curvy road.

I also used the auto set and it did not do it as well.

Actually, it does not. The clock will automatically sync the correct seconds based on the GPS signal, but one must manually select the time zone and manually set DST ON/OFF.

Seems plausible I suppose.

Sunday, while driving I went to bump the clock to the correct time and saw the Auto or DST option. Clicked it prior to performing a manual change it that option changed the time on its own.

Now that you mention it I was trying to set the clock while in the garage.

Well that sucks. Mine didn't change either. On my other Nav equipped cars, the time changes automatically. So when you drive across timezones, does it change the time? My other cars do.

This seems like a software issue that they could have done with the facelift --

-- my wife's '06 acura does this even -- :|

Okay, I'll play along. Mine didn't auto update either. I set auto update and DST when I first bought it, but no update. I manually overrode the time and de-selected and re-selected DST and it promptly made the time incorrect again

Ok, top this one: I live in SC (Eastern Time Zone.) For the clock to tell the correct time, I have to select Central Time Zone.

Seriously.......

That's because you have DST set to ON. Turn OFF DST and you will be fine. Remember, we are now on Standard Time, Not DST. So turning OFF DST will put your clock back one hour.

The clock does not auto update the hours or DST. The DST option simply sets the hour back one hour from the selcted Time Zone standard time when ON and leaves the hours at Standard Time when OFF. So, after selecting your Time Zone, turn DST OFF in the Fall and ON in the Spring.

Your DST should now be set to OFF.

Pretty sure mine is in EST and I had to turn DST option off to roll it back an hour. It was in the on setting. It is amazing the details that have not been figured out on their flagship model.

Edit sorry several posters already explained the function.
