Cleaning insulator plate 2f

Hey guys, installing my insulator plate. Thoughts on cleaning up this surface? Obviously it looks great, but just to prep for mounting.

This. Clean the manifold mating surface if needed.

I use a flat surface with some fine sand paper taped to it.
