Chinese Carb w/no fuel return (1 Viewer)

I have a pre-9/73 FJ40 with an F155 engine.

I decided to give the Amazon carb a shot. My question is, can I add a fuel return by threading and drilling out this port? Is a return line necessary?

Likely not necessary. Watch your float level in the sight glass (assuming it has one) and see how it goes. Keep a fire extinguisher handy on the test drive.

I eliminated the return line a couple years ago when I installed a similar carburetor. No issues to report! I wouldn't drill the carb.
