All weather mats arrived today. Stumbled across this company which just happened to be local to me (not associated in any way). I stopped by their storefront and took a look at samples they had on hand.
I got the front row, middle, and whole cargo area cheaper than some "universal" mats you have to trim down from Amazon.

I also ordered a sunscreen from them that should also arrive today.
drivers mat comes with holes to match up with the factory retention "clips" to keep it in place.
Those are cool - only issue I can see is that mud/rain/snow will leak out and over those all-weather mats since there is no lip on the ends? Might not be a huge issue in Sacramento.. but they would never work here in the Northeast haha
Wow those look great. How the texture of the rubber? Do your feet feel planted. My husky liners on my f250 the liners were slippery I hated it.All weather mats arrived today. I totally get it! In my Trek and wife's Telluride, we have liners that lip up a couple inches. We actually spend a lot of time in Truckee/Tahoe area, even during the winter. I did originally want something similar, but I coudlnt really find a fitted one for a reasonable price. Those are cool - only issue I can see is that mud/rain/snow will leak out and over those all-weather mats since there is no lip on the ends? Havnt driven with them yet, but just sitting there, they are pretty grippy. ill have to report back when I drive around with them.Wow those look great. How the texture of the rubber? Do your feet feel planted. My husky liners on my f250 the liners were slippery I hated it.
Ordering one right now! Good idea. And it doubles as a snow cover in the winter for easy-removal in the morning. Just gotta remember to put it on the night before! The sunshade also arrived yesterday. Fit like a glove!

Were those clips attached to the actual panels? Do you have a link to the new plastic clips you used if you replaced them? I have to remove some of my dash to install the JW Modular Dash Panel and am guessing that I too will snap some of these clips.Got everything installed back late last night.
Test fit with the baby monitor

-figure out something for the steering wheel. I dont think vinyl would be the way to go for this. Not sure I want to replace the whole thing, at least not at this point lol. Ive seen steering wheel leather wraps (like this: Leather Steering Wheel Covers Manufacturer and Distributor - https://wheelskins.com ), which I might end up going that direction, but not a priority right now. I actually really like the feel of the wood portion of the steering wheel, just not the aesthetics.
I picked up one of these for my GX. They are well-liked both on Amazon and over the 100-series forum (which we share a steering wheel with). I'll be installing it in in the next week or so and will update my build thread with the end result. We'll see if the cover can be trimmed to just go over the leather portions and retain the wood - if not the wood will be a sacrifice for a nicer wheel.-figure out something for the steering wheel. I just pulled off the metal and plastic clips that remained and transferred them onto the silver replacements. Were those clips attached to the actual panels? Keep me posted! If it works for you, i assume I could do just the opposite and just cover the wood and leave the rest alone hahaha!I picked up one of these for my GX. Unlike many I actually love the woodgrain, as it just fits with my cypress green GX and adds some nice contrast. Your wrap job does look great however.
