I don't blame you ^^^ I can try and spray around the front diff if you'd like, then just pick up a can aerosol FF for a quick coat of that area when your drop is in.
I'll either get it installed before I come or the kit will sit and I'll get to it in the spring. Honestly once November hits it'll likely be too cold for me to want to work on it in my driveway anyway. Unfortunately soccer and other weekend activities for my kids eat up all my weekends in Sept/Oct and Apr/May.
Or maybe I'll bring two six packs and be able to convince someone to help me install it on the spot before we spray![]()
I’ll bring my air tools, impact sockets, and jack stands if I’m not in Florida!
I had the same question, since my 80 has a ton of rust “under the skirt”. Supposedly fluid film will penetrate rust unit it gets to bare metal. At which point you should be able to take off any rust with a simple scraper. What is the cost to get a 100 series sprayed? Also, is FF useful/worthwhile on vehicles with a fair amount of undercarriage rust on them already?
Thanks
