Chevy axles/springs under a GMC Jimmy

Hi, my friend has a 76 3/4 ton chev pickup and he wants to use it in a solid axle swap for the '96 Jimmy. I know this may be the wrong place to ask, but does anyone know if there is a conversion kit or any info would be great.

try pirate4x4 theres a chevy section over there..

make sure ya got some free time it takes about 11 hours to load a page over there.

The old Chevy axles were passenger's drop, the IFS Chevies are driver's drop. You'll need to change the transfer case or get a driver's drop front axle.
