sounds like fun. I don't think a 60 could make a 142 mile trip on 1 full tank of gas, though. probably won't be a prob on a 80, though

LOL depends on the terrain, but I usually get 11-12 in town and a 25gal tank. I'll be carrying some extra gas.

Be proud your going its closed for everybody else...need someone to pay for gas;)

Maybe, Ross is my first choice, but he's not sure he can get away. If he can't, I would like someone to ride with.
I'll be towing my brand new Horizon AT on this trek. It's being delivered on the 27th of Oct. I can't think of a better way to test it out than a week on/off the road.

I am jealous! That is on my to do list someday when my kids get older. Congrats on the new trailer. When does it arrive?

Just spent monday night in Moab, had a couple of dead horse ale's and a tri-tip dinner. Too bad I was just passing through:crybaby:

My favorite kind of camping. I used to backpack the Gila wilderness NM in Oct/Nov every year. Coldest night I ever spent out was 3 deg and it was a balmy 18 deg in my tent that night. I woke up with the entire inside of my tent and the outside of my sleeping bag covered with frost.

Is this trail publically accessable?
