I'm planning on replacing my leaf spring bushings this weekend if they come in on time......on an unrelated note, how open is this parking lot and will it support jack stands?

Kidding. kind of. I should be there!

Sunday's are usually difficult for me, but I might be able to make it this time.

enjoy you time without me.

Looks like I might make it.

I was hoping to make it, but looks like I'll be missing another one.

hope someone took better picks ,these are all i took. Nice seeing everyone, new and old . Till the next one.

Sorry I missed it, changing my bushings ended up not a couple hours and now is on jackstands and blocks of wood till I either get 1) kicked out of my apartments parking lot, or 2) get some new shackles in this week. Who would have guessed that a "that shouldn't take very long" ends up taking very long?

Those shackle bushings have a tendency to fight you every step of the way. Air chisel helps. Drilling lots of holes in the bushing helps too. Either way, the struggle is real.

I'm actually going to use this as an excuse to pick up a torch from Lowes and a good harbor freight floorjack. Already ordered up a new set of greasable shackles since they were about the same price as standard ones. If anyone has any other tips let me know! Till then it's going to be bash it with a hammer, roast it with a torch, and see what happens. I am a little worried about what it'll take to realign the springs with the shackles, but I'll cross that when I get to it.
