Anyone have any experience with Ceika big brake kits? CEIKA
Just checked out their website. There are a lot of options, including disk diameter for whatever wheel size you want to run. Very impressive!
They look legit, and with almost 500 review with an overall rating of almost 5 stars, I really don't think you could go wrong.
Have you looked for any online reviews other than on the Ceika website?
If it were me, I'd pull the trigger.

I havent looked for other reviews yet. I came straight here. They do kits for a ton of different vehicles it appears. I am going to keep investigating. The options for the kit sure are mind boggling lol.

I'll have to remember this when it comes time to upgrade the brakes.

I know there are quite a few people running the Ceika kits in the GXOR group on Facebook. Ceika has been around for a long time and I think they're one of the few, or maybe only, companies doing a rear BBK for the GX.

Yeah looks like they have definitely been around for a long time and have a good reputation with quite a few different vehicle owners. I am very, very tempted right now....

If I remember correctly @GXO is running their rear big brake kit.

How many miles? Feel it is worth the price?
I have over 20k on mine and she has likely half that. 100% worth it.

Mind putting up a few pictures?
I've been looking at options but these Ceika's are by far the most affordable.
RR Racing
Powerbrake
Wilwood
I have wilwood front and CEIKA rear. My wife has Ceika across the board. I'll dig up some pics but there are some in my build (linked in sig)

I just purchased a BBK for my 2020 T4R, build quality looks stellar and I went with their full float rotor setup (356mmx32). There is also a comparison pic with the Powerbrake caliper I added as well. I am getting these installed on Tuesday.

My only prayer for you is that anyone behind you can stop in time!!!! ... but, anyone who hits you from behind, it's their fault anyways! Right??

question for those who wheel with cross drilled; no issues with scoring or gravel / particulate lodging when you run those through a bog hole?
zero in my experience. just running slotted for now though.

I did want to also add anyone ordering those in the US as of September 2025 will have to pay a tariff to the delivery company. I had to pay $170 via check made out to UPS and gave it to the driver directly, thanks a lot Cheeto man.

I'm curious on if anyone has compared the big brake kit to upgraded pads with OEM Toyota rotors. I run EBC Greens on the OEM rotors and the brakes will nearly throw you through the windshield. Last weekend I towed my compact tractor more than 250 miles with the GX (total load of GX + passengers + cargo + trailer + tractor was ~11,500 pounds) and it still stopped fine using the rig and the trailer's brakes. Certainly looks to be a nice upgrade but I'm wondering how much better the braking actually is.

This. I replaced my OEM pads at 50K a few months ago, with OEM when they were on sale from Bell Lexus. Braking was fine but they were down to 4mm close enough to change for me.

Today went into town to pick up some things from Home Depot getting ready for my trip the Arrowhead. Car in front of me had 3 teenage girls in it all on their cell phone. Truck in front of them stopped and she hit it hard at 50 mph. Plastic and engine coolant flying everywhere instinctively I slammed on my brakes. And stopped on the spot. Looked up at my rear view mirror and guy in the truck behind me was still coming, oh chit here we go. When he finally realized what was going on he locked up and slid to my right and missed me, thank goodness. I hate driving in town.

As soon as I stopped my seat belt tightened up even tighter, it caught me off guard. Thinking about it now it must be for when the guy behind you hits you. I run the USAA app on my phone, normally get ~30% discount every 6 months with it, and it dinged on the phone and asked if I was in an accident and needed assistance. I hit no and a couple seconds later it said are you sure?

Pretty sure I left some of the Wildpeak's rubber on the road. I really doubt a $2K brake kit from Hong Kong is going to make you stop any sooner. $2K buys a lot of beans and bullets.

I came real close to rear ending a car in a similar manner. EBC Greens and grippy Wildpeaks saved my bacon as well. Funny as I had put the EBC greens on literally a few hundred miles before that near-miss - they weren't even broken in yet. I certainly wasn't exceeding the clamping power of the brakes as the ABS was kicking in on dry, warm pavement. I was still running non-OEM rotors at that time. After a GX460 caliper upgrade with new OEM rotors all around it stops even better and has amazing pedal feel.
