Bumping an old thread. Do you run straight from valve cover to atmosphere? Or do you go valve cover - catch can - atmosphere?After wasting $900 on 3 different catch cans - now just vent to the atmosphere via a hose bolted to the frame. Solution has worked for every prior Toyota and Cummins diesel. 3B's mark their territory.
Buy whatever makes you sleep better or smells better (the only advantage I can see). Most extolling the virtues of a catch can on a 6 cyl diesel have other issues
Hi - Yes. Down the firewall and pointed toward the rear (for water). I also made sure the end would not drip on any expensive bushings.Do you run straight from valve cover to atmosphere?
