I have one that I am installing. Can't recommend the aussie company i got it from though - SUPER slow. Trying to remember who had it installed while i was slacking... I'll find it and post up a link for ya.

and $$$ btw - it was $500'ish iirc and this was 3+ years ago. Have you looked at SOR to see what they have?

The SOR stuff requires a LOT of trimming and fitting. It looks nice installed but I'd never do it again.

I saw a thread a while back that had a vinyl floor that had Landcruiser embossed on the transmission hump; I guess it was factory overseas or something. I've actually been looking at the options lately but haven't been able to find it again. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Dude I did complete recarpet in my cruiser for 20 bucks! hell if it goes bad every 10 years and i have to pay 20 bucks? its so worth it!

Look for HJ60 sold in Europe 1985-1986 I think.

Interesting. Can you provide more information and pictures.
Yea no Problem. So my original plan was to rhino line the inside but I came to realize the pain that would be so I went over to home depot and found these 8ft by 8ft outdoor carpet pieces. which of course they were selling them as like rugs so the were seriously like 8 bucks a roll so I picked up two of them and got some double stick tape made for carpet and then just used the old pieces as templates and it turned out awesome for about 20 bucks and one of my afternoons I wont bitch :D I will go snap some shots and post them up

Thanks - I am looking for ideal... I am not a big fan of carpet. I had a honda element with rubber flooring. It was sweet.

yea I personally think capret makes the pigs feel more like home :D haha

oh, cripes, $660?

I've had good luck with carpet from the local industrial fabric supply place,
and $100 would do the whole thing...

Bet you could buy the vinyl/rubber non- skid sheeting and do it pretty easily-
the carpet's not that conformed, and many edges are positively held down (like the door sills, etc)

LOL - yeah Toby SOR isn't known for being inexpensive...

But hey - it's only $571 if you are a member!

Definitely cheaper options - i'm pretty impressed by Lewy's dye job. If it's just faded or want it a bit darker w/ good carpet (after cleaning) that looks genius... I've seen some nice rear cargo replacements with home depot materials (from carpet, to the heavy rubber matting). LOTS of options - just takes creativity and some time if you want to make something work.

One day i'll have my vinyl installed and show purty pics...

Might try this myself. Tonight on the way hone from work I saw a big dumpster full of carpet in front of the local Post Office. The property manager said I could snag as much as I'd like. If it looks decent I'll probably replace the front carpet when I install my new center console.
