I'm rebuilding a 2F with scavanged parts the carb that I have is off an unknown year. I am looking to ID using the serial # to get a rebuild kit. Any one know if this is possible?

There is a date code on every Aisan carb. It is stamped in small letters on the top front of the carb. The format is Y M DD. Y is the last digit of the year (4=1964,1974,1984...), M is a letter of the alphabet corresponding sequentially to the month (A=jan, B=feb,...), and DD is the numeric day of the month.
