$50 for a 20 minute timer switch? EBay has them under $20!

I checked the Bay and couldn't find the InPOWER VCM-04-20MF listed, but I didn't look too hard for it though.....None the less, having the InPOWER module on my rig for about 19 months, it is still working as intended.

fantic - With a little research, I found that gasoline boils around 185 degrees (+/-). Thus I removed the SPAL 195-TS and re-installed with a SPAL 185-TS degree 'ON' sensor, and 'OFF' at 165 degrees. Also, I received my 20 minute 'OFF' relay yesterday, so I'll wire that in this weekend.
Since part people are what they are, do you have the part number of the thermostat?
I found this one on Amazon, but wasn’t too sure.
Spal 185-TS 185 Degree Stainless Steel Thermostat Amazon product ASIN B003PB9KQG

That is what I ordered off of Amazon. I sold the 40 a couple of years ago. So I don't know how it held up.

FWIW - My home made 'Carb Cooling Fan System' worked perfectly from 2014 up till I removed it in 2020. Being that I run a Holley Sniper 2300, I didn't need the cooling fan so I reinstalled the windshield washer bottle and bracket.

I remember you saying that before your trip out west. I think it’s ingenious, so I’m going to give it a go.
As it is now, if I make a quick run into a store, the fuel boils off. I have to crank and crank it, then it slowly sputters to life. One A-hole commented that I should of bought a Jeep…smiling of course. But none the less.

I read this thread to prep myself for installing a carb fan in my 1975 fj40 with a 1978 2f motor/carb. I know it has been 4 years since you removed it from your 40, but any chance you still had the wiring/relay/temp sensor for it? Dm me if you do and want to sell it. Would be a huge head start if you did, otherwise I will just use this thread to try and build my own off of your design. Thanks!

Yes, I still have all the goodies mentioned above.....However, they are packaged for the outside chance the EFI system fails and I want to go back to the old school carburetor world.
