Putting a Trollhole Carb on a 2F motor in my 65 FJ. My problem is the brake M/C is hitting the carb. I am running the firewall spacer on the early booster. The set up worked with the original F motor. Anyone run into this problem before? Will an F intake work?

Yikes that looks way too tight. Any chance of hacking that spacer and pushing the booster back to its intended location?

The plenum on the F intake DOES sit closer to the block Tony. That's what I used on 45 dude's rig. Then again, we also used a F engine 2bbl.

Thanks Charlie and Mark.

I am deciding which way to go now.

What is that vacuum pot for thats hitting the master cylinder?

vacuum actuated secondary.

As much as I hated to do it, I trimmed the firewall rib. It turned out to be pretty involved to get everything to fit, it was 1 step forward, 5 steps back. I am really happy with the end result.
