I'm trying to install the coalescing filter for my OBA setup and have decided to mount it next to the frame, using a captured nut on top of the frame. Does anyone know the diameter and pitch of the nut in there? I am really bad at guessing at these things and am sure that this will inevitably require a trip to Fastenal as hardware stored never seem to have the right pitch metric stuff.

Here's the hole I am talking about:

OMG!! Talk about real time help!

Home Depot, Lowes, True Value, Ace...ETC.

Checked them all, with the exception of Ace, to no avail. I'll have to give Ace a call. Thanks!

I'm sorry for your plight.:frown:

I don't have to venture past the bolt-bin at my back parts counter so I tend to lead a sheltered life.....:frown:

Search for cap screws at mcmaster.com - they have 12x1.25

If you don't find it, let me know. I have a hardware store in Tampa that I'm almost positive has every possible combination of everything ever machined. Period.
