Here's the list as of 40 minutes ago. I assume that @raanderson77 's +1 was @scj . Is that true Ryan?

Cabin 14, Friday-Monday:
@GLTHFJ60
@raanderson77
@SeanLX
@jamesurq
@forrest5000
@SFROMAN (wants +2)
@Pepper98
@scj

Cabin 13 Friday-Sunday: 4
@AJR +3

I guess we need people to confirm if they're camping, or want a cabin spot, and exactly how many people they want beds for.

He wasn't my plus one, but he can be now. When I requested the +1, it was a different era 😆

I'm for cabin.

edited above, forgot to include myself :doh:

Johny. You can remove my two boys then. They just won’t come.
Don't have to just yet. Remember, we can have people camp on the beach if they want, and not everyone has confirmed camping or cabin space.

Point is, we can find space for everyone, between camping and the cabins.

Ok, I am now in, confirmed:

To:
Ferry 9/4 7:30am

From:
Ferry 9/5 1pm

So there will be 4 of us total staying on Saturday night 9/4. Two adults (my buddy and I) and kids ages 7 and 6.

We are cool with cabin or beach camping.

We are making the drive out Friday afternoon and staying at Cedar Island that night.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

My son really enjoys fishing though we are noobs and all our gear is for freshwater. Anyone willing to show us the ropes?

Nice... I think @SeanLX is the only one that seems to know what he is doing when it comes to the fishing, although I should note that I have never personally witnessed him catch a fish 😆 I'm guessing he @scj will both have their gear with them.

Yep, I'll be trying to fish. I'm not very good but there's a picture somewhere that shows I've actually caught 1 before. Let's just say I won't be counting on fish for my meals.

I can bring a spare large fishing pole. I don't know much about freshwater fishing but I'm sure some of the gear works the same. We'll have plenty of rigs to tie on with some shrimp and see what happens.

Does someone want to bring a window AC unit? I will bring my generator for the main cabin with fuel for it.

@HoodieFranco I’m happy to send you with what you’ll need to fish there. Rod and reel, rod holder, tackle, etc. The rigs and technique are simple, it’s just a matter of locating the fish. The nice thing about saltwater is that everything has a big mouth, so the same rig can catch a 6” fish or a 60lb fish if you’re lucky.

Sean can show you what you need to know and rig it all up for you. He also usually has enough bait left over for a nice meal on the last day!

In terms of supplies I can share I will have:

- 3 gal compressor
- solo stove
- enough smore supplies for a small army

working on a power bank
Not to discourage bringing tools but there's a free compressor right as you get back off the ferry to air up for the ride home. I'm sure a couple of us will have portable ones if anyone needs a little air while we're still on the island.

Thank you John. All those nice things @JToobe has said about you must be true!

I’m going to check with my neighbor to see what he may have and will shoot you a msg.

We did not get to formally meet at Tipsy Burro but I was sitting with @forrest5000

Noted. Ill be sure to check in to see who has what so we are not overpacking.

Moving this to a sticky as the event is two weeks out now. Holy s*** how time flies.

For dividing up the cost, I've got $705 into the cost of the cabins. Looks like there are 10 people confirmed as coming (not including kids). Does $70 per person sound fair to everyone?

If so, text me and I'll give you my venmo/paypal account to pay me.
