cool,

while we are at it. we should come up with a logistics plan as in who is bringing what. from past experience on the last trip I plan to have contingency gear with me.

I have zero issue with consolidating a by name list of who is bringing what.

Things to think about. fuel, generator, AC window unit, propane tank. Stove, fire pit, Canopy

I am bringing:
2 x 5 gallon fuel tanks
1 x 20 # propane tank
1 x canopy
1 x AC window unit
2x firewood bundle
1 x collapsible fire pit

recovery gear-
Shovel
Soft shackles x2
D rings x2
Tow strap
Air compressor
Tire puncture kit
Tire deflator

Are we doing a Pot lock any of the days? If so, who is bringing what?

The cabins have a oven/stove, so we don't necessarily need to bring camp stoves.

As part of my normal kit:
- powertank
- tire patch kit
- coleman stove with some spices/oils, utensils, pans, etc
- jacks
- slumberjack canopy

For this trip specifically:
- honda genny
- more than likely 2x 20# propane tanks
- power cable for genny
- 3x firewood bundles (leftovers from cmcc)

So then let's make a call. Do I cancel the second cabin? Just keep the one main one

SON OF A.....

new boss just called a Friday 9/3 all hands meeting.
DAMMIT.

Trying to get out of it - but not looking good.

Plan right now is to have generator and AC for one cabin. As of now we have 9 people (without james) that want a cabin spot. Cabin 14 "sleeps" 8, but I'm sure we could squeeze one or two more in on cots.

Anyone have an opinion on canceling the smaller cabin, cabin 13? I'm leaning towards getting rid of it, especially since we only have it till Sunday morning anyway.

@jamesurq on Friday before a holiday weekend? you need another new boss. There is cell signal, tell him you'll call in.
Also there might be a Sat. morning ferry spot that would be worth it since we're staying until Monday.

@GLTHFJ60 I'm good either way, extra space and shower is nice but I don't also mind if we try to squeeze into 1.
It sounds like 14 is a good sized cabin and we could make it work.

@jamesurq
Please post up as soon as you know if you will make it or not. Maybe somebody can use your ferry slot, either someone already going or somebody else.

Unfortunately we are out. The boy broke his arm a few weeks back at a trampoline park then my buddy that was going to come with found out he has family coming into town they haven’t seen in awhile.

If someone needs a ferry you can have my spot.

Alright. I canceled the second cabin, so now we only have Cabin 14, to the tune of $475 (including $10 cancellation fee).

So, $475 divided by 9 people is 52.77, so lets call that $50 per person.

Is there another space available?

Not in the cabin, no. Just canceled the second cabin late last week since we couldn't fill it.

Beach camping is available to everyone.

Do we want to put together a food plan, meaning fo shared meals? Could do themed dinner nights if yall want.

Can’t wait.
the 80 is finally good to go. Just need to pack during the week.

also please don’t forget to get your beach driving passes
Thanks completely forgot, just got mine.

I forgot to mention. I am planning fish tacos for Saturday dinner. If others want that I can bring enough for the group so let me know so I can bring enough. If not that’s cool also.
