Aight, here is my position. Went on vacation for a couple of months and when I got back the truck was dead. There was zero power from the battery. I try to jump start the truck but the security system won't let me start the Truck. And I can't turn off the security system either. And I lost the clicker (to lock and unlock the truck), so I'm only left with the key. Can someone help me out before I take it to Toyota and get F'd in the A?

Thanks, Chase.

I'd take the battery out and charge it or put in a new battery. As for the alarm in my 95 with the factory alarm it can be turneed off by putting the key in the ignition and turning to on then back to acc then to on again. Check the owners manual in yours to if yours works in a similar manner.

Yup. Take out the battery and put a nice slow overnight charge on it. Follow the instructions in B's manual and you should be set. Then buy a fob from Cbizkit.

Charge the battery in place or remove it from the truck and charge it properly. Or maybe buy a new battery. After that is done, put the key in the ingition switch,a turn to the on position (just before start). Then hook up the fresh battery. I believe this will work for you. later robbie

Got her to run... Charged up the battery, then I held down the button by the dead pedal, turned the key and it ran. I guess the button kills the security.

Could also get a battery disconnect when you go on months of vacation and not have to worry about it.
