G,day I,m from australia and this is my first post here
.The front t/case output shaft seal is leaking and I,ve broken 2 socket bars trying to undo the steaked nut . Ive tried heating the nut with the oxy and use a big pipe on the socket bar till somthing breaks[.broke 2 racchets , bent a solid bar twisted an extension and put my back out] Now the corners are starting to break of the nut
Hope its not a reverse thread?
even if I weld the socket {32 mm , was a tight fit to start with] to a big bar the sholders on the nut are giving out . If I try and cut the nut of with the oxy probably ruine the thread on the shaft .
Any ideas??
:whoops:
Thanks----Mat
