I did search and didn't see anything. With guys running 37s and up i'm thinking that broken birfs are increasing. Anyone put dana 60s under there? I was not sure if the driveline would line up with the diffs.

My 1993 TLC with locking diff's was roughly the cost of 1.5 of those axles!

Wow.

HOLY CRAP those things look awesome! Too $$$$$$$$$$$for me.

IMO, I would push shops like polyperformance.com and toyotasuperaxles.com to create 4340 inner shafts and 4340 birfields for the 80-series LONG before I'd try and expense thru a complete axle swap....

Both of these shops are doing some great stuff for the 40-55-60-62 and mini crowds, and it's only a matter of time before some 80 specific items show up...

if my damn GMC sells, an 80 will be next, and believe me...one of those two will have 4340 stuff for 80's when I'm done....

Lower the price. :D

I thought Bobby Long was working on them for 80s? That was the last I heard from him. Not Longfields but the fancy 4340s without treating. I'm hoping before next summer. I know I'm going to need spares next summer. Would love to get new ones and use my old ones as spares.
