Can anyone in Minneapolis/St. Paul help me out with the special wheel lock "key"?

Well the guy at Midas managed to bungle up my special wheel lock "key" needed for taking off the one special lug nut on each wheel. I've already bought 4 new regular lug nuts, as I'm tired of always fighting to get the special ones off. I'm willing to take the risk that no one wants to steal my 18 yr old pitted aluminum tires. :)
I'd like to borrow someone's special "key" with the wiggly bar on it for taking off the 4 special lug nuts with the wiggly groove in them one last time. Anyone in or near the twin cities? I can drive over and do it right there, or leave a deposit until I bring it back. Just don't want to buy one from Toyota if I can help it.
If anyone is willing to help we can figure it out off line.
Thanks!
Kevin

PS this site is awesome, just finished up a birf re-pack, would have been much harder without all the great posts on here. This is why I need to keep wrenching myself, and not take it to somewhere else!

I had th ed problem that the wheel guy stole my key. Me and finnyfam had to drive to the dealership where they used there master set of keys to take off the wheel locks. Chucked those bought a new set of nuts. They didnt charge us a thing. Case closed!

I'm pretty sure the wheel lock key sockets aren't interchangeable. I had one that was stripped due to some ham fisted tire or jiffy lube guy way over torque it. A very clever shade tree tire mechanic is Baja found a 6 point socket that was bigger than the OD of the locking nut and with a BF hammer he jammed the donor socket so on tight that we were able to remove the entire mess with an impact wrench.

Yea we tryed that with a nut extractor and a hammer no luck case hardened locks

I'm pretty sure if you tried the hammer/socket trick any key you try will no longer work. Just my experience from using this technique.

I had no luck with the the store bought "lug nut extractor" to get my factory wheel locks off. I ended up hammering on a socket and they came off no problem. I did have to hammer the socket off the wheel lock each time. No more wheel locks for me. The reason I had to do this was that I drove off with the wheel lock key laying on the ARB bumper. Lost many sockets this way and never learn.

The socket and hammer works all the time. Easiest way to get socket off of wheel lock is to lay wheel lock and socket flat on the concrete and hit the socket towards the end that the lock is wedged. Should work.

X 84 on the socket hammered over the wheel lock and then back it off with an impact wrench or socket wrench with cheater bar if needed.
