If I can close the lid on this thing with a few potatoes in it, this will be perfect. It collapses down to about 5" thick. Found at Target.

I have a 28" Blackstone griddle that I used on the last trip. I had a friend drag it in his trailer. I am really considering a portable Blackstone griddle to replace my Coleman 413. The griddle is very versatile and I have a one burner stove that screws onto a propane bottle if I need to boil water. It is amazing how fast you can pump out the food on a griddle.

The folding wally world unit it nice. I love that it has it's own fitted bag.

Although it will be hard to part with ye old weber grill with a form stake for a support and a rock on the other side.

Believe it or not I got one of those Sol-Air Everywhere grills to put in the slideout kitchen.

No table though.

It's one of those "searing" high heat IR burner deals. Which I have zero experience with, so it should be fun. :)

I love those V shaped grill pieces, designed to catch juices and burn them off instantly - adding flavors and smoking the meat a bit.

Anyone have one?

I still have my Solaire Anywhere grill. It sears well... good for steaks, lamb chops, prawns and such. Not recommended for slow cooking but there is a work around. Be sure to run it awhile after cooking to burn off the grease on the burner itself, otherwise you'll clog the edges of it. When using 1lb propane bottles, I had issues with freezing the regulator(s). No issues with bulk propane and extension hose.

Thanks for the great reply.

Can you use fatty chop-meat in burgers or will the heavier drippings hurt the burner?

Fatty burgers are fine. I don't remember having too many issues with flare-ups. The drippings will never hurt the burner but if you don't burn it off, you might be spending some time poking at all the holes with a paperclip.

That is great news. Thanks.

They have these gourmet burgers around here that are made with nice cuts like brisket that are awesome, but are something like 30-40% fat. .... :)
