Howdy,

I have an import Sahara HJ61 with a sunroof and the little roof console showing inside and outside temperatures and the altitude.

Does anyone know where the sensors are located for both the inside and outside temperatures? I suspect one is just behind the front bumper bar but have no idea where the inside one is located.

Thanks
Tim

On a LHD Cruiser it´s located on the drivers side above the door.
It´s in a 2x2 inch white plastic cover.
I assume on a RHD Cruiser it´s located on the other driver side.

what about the outside temp sensor? I've got a little radio shack doohickey that has an external probe.... never have figured out where to mount it

Thanks guys,

Yep, I have the little plastic cover above/adjacent to my head, and yes on a RHD it is on the drivers side. Tampage, it 'should' be above the door opening, looking like it could be an olde worlde mobile phone microphone.

Thanks crusher for confirming that odd thing behind the front bumper is the temp sensor. So when it reads +53°C it's probably not too far wrong.
