One option if you are wanting to cut it rather than extra lift would be to move the rearend back a couple inches (couple methods possible) and then you would only need to cut the rear of the fender well in which i think looks good when cut.?? That is if you are going to cut it. ? Of course you would need to extend your driveline. Probably more money and work than you wanted?? Just trying to throw as many thoughts at you as possible so you can take some and leave some.

I'm diggin the two-tone paint job...somehow looks natural on there.

haven't done the lift yet and also wanted to clarify my intentions on "cutting" my 40. there is a little tab INSIDE the fender infront of the tire, that im thinking of trimming. NOT the actual wheel well! it's just a small corner piece of metal you can see in the close up pics i've attached above. check it out and give me your opinion. thanks all!!!!!
