Andrew, That was our budget for the last two vehicles that we got for our girls, but we wound up finding/buying Ford Explorers. The Explorer is not the best mpg option, but ample room for their stuff to & from school and built on a truck frame. Plus the 1st one was Katie tested (i.e., crash tested) and did its job. No daughter damage! Additionally, the Explorer held its value. The payout from the insurance company was what we paid for it and we were able to buy a replacement Explorer with lower miles (& no prior Katie testing) for the same price.

I never use my roof rack so I think Im going to get rid of it. It was on my 60 and is 4 1/2 feet by 5 feet and about 4 inches tall with 2 light tabs on the front and a couple of kc lights. Overall it's in good condition with a little surface rust that could be easily removed. It has 4 posts that hold to the gutter. Id rather trade it for an arb style front bumper or something similar that would crush a car when someone pulls out in front of me. Or maybe a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier? Ill go up or down with cash for a trade so let me know what you got. Not sure what they cost new but was thinking around $300 obo. You can reach me at my email ksollinger@hotmail.com.

New owner. Land Rover convert (mostly) and I just finished most of the PM two weekends ago.
So, I'm needing parts for my '94 FJ80 and I'd prefer to deal local as some of them are bigger. I'm in Chattanooga but my wife's family is in Atlanta and we get down that way pretty often.
Hopefully this will be a good excuse to drink some beer and put a real bumper on it.
I got a friend at work who wants to sell his 2010 Mustang. He just wants to get out from under the note (~$13K) and it blue books for $19K. Don't have much more info on it other than he said it had the "pony package" and tires were still good. It's not his daily driver - so I've never even seen it. Would you consider trading the bull bar for full stock doors? I have 2 sets (4 doors) in so so condition that would make half doors then I have 1 set (2doors) in very good condition, ones that I think are too good to cut up. I love this ride, but just got a new job that comes w a company vehicle - can't justify keep all 3 (possibly a 55 in my future).
