No way, why would it be more expensive than a Limited 4wd 4runner? It is slotted below the 4runner, there will be some overlap I would guess. Loaded, I still think will be less than $30k.DanKunz said:

FYI- the SR5 (base) 4wd v6 model has a MSRP of $29.9k (2wd SR5 is $28.2k), I would expect a nicely loded FJ might come in right around that. According to ExpeditionsWest, it looks like we might find out in Dec.

Mark the marketing dude from Toyota Corporate was at the SEMA show and he informed us that the price would range from low $20K for the 2wd FJ and $25K-$28K for the 4wd. I must admit that it's really nice and well thought out; Although the wifey wants one, I definetly wouldn't sell my 40. My wife on the other hand probably wouldn't think twice about selling it off.
