Yes, I searched and read everything :flipoff2:

I'm thinking about new bumpers for the 62 and have been looking at everything's that offered. WTF? It seems that the only thing I find is followed by "discontinued." I don't want one with a winch, don't want one with a spare mount. I'm just looking for front & rear that are a bit more stout than stock and that wrap at least a bit of the ends.

Anyone know of anything? Really like the Iron Pig rear but when I checked they weren't making it anymore either.

Can't believe I have to go ARB or Keymar at $1000+ or nothing at all.

I liked the iron pig one, that's to bad:frown: . I kept putting off buying one, because I wanted the front one first (it's bent) and the rear second (it's in perfect shape)

I read something in another thread that Man-a-Fre is coming out with the Safari guard for a 60. It looks nice... might be around the same price though.

ouch! $$$$
i love my iron pig rear...too bad Lance isnt making any for the front?

Check out the 60 series bumpers from JK. Looks like just about what you're looking for...

Yep, pretty much what I'm looking for. I got an email from Jason yesterday saying he hasn't made any for a while and has to find the plans to give me an idea for a price.

I guess that's better than "discontinued" that I see everywhere else ;)

Check out CRBoffroad.com; Chris made my Trooper and 60 bumpers from dimensions I gave him in a sketch. They're plain jane crawler style with 2" recievers front and rear. Tell him what you're looking for, and ask him to swag a price. Mine were made without mounting tabs/brackets (did that much myself) for about $150 each.

Chris -
You've seen the ones on my '84, I think. They were $350 apiece, installed, before powdercoating. They might be a little cheaper without the 3 receivers each. Guys in Castle Rock (now Elizabeth) did them. Maybe Beedon could build you some to match the sliders.

Hey Steve-

Oh yeah, I've seen them - more than I need but I'm not planning on a winch mount either. Who was it that built them? I PM's Jim but think he's pretty wrapped up in slider work now that he's got his bender.

I need to talk to you about those windows again. Ever get a good look at your neighbors?

BTW - Moab was a blast! :bounce:  :bounce:

I just had my Beedon Sliders powdercoated for $120 and slapped back on the truck!...NICE!!!

call steve at man a fre. Four plus is considering a non winch version of the new bumper. no one is quite sure if it will sell. they've already sold a rear without pivots

Any idea what the rear w/o pivots sold for? I suspect the price will still be real steep. I'm pretty cheap :D

Beedon Sliders - Moab tested and approved :D

I'm hoping to be able to provide an "action pic"to support that!
