I have been looking at all the different bumper designs and was curious why no one had made a front hoop that followed the hood?

ARB has:
__________
|__|___|__|

SSO has:
__________
|__/___\__|

Is there a reason no one has done something like this to match the hood and headlights?
__________

Iron Man 4x4 Prado Deluxe bar doesn't obscure mine at all...but I do see what you mean...if my uprights were slanted out to match the hood line it would look very cool :)

Seems easy enough?? It would make the span in between the uprights rather wide. Maybe less strength? What do you think Gentleman?

At first I thought that if you just made the inner loop it would be difficult to get that sharp angle like on @THeGeNTLeMaN 's truck, but if you made the headlight loops first and then put in the horizontal piece that might make it easier. Of course, I am not a welder or anything so I really don't know what the difficulty would be.

Yeah something like that! Is there a reason it hasnt been done like that?

Nope ... other than the single hoop was the first and standard design on our gx bumper then later on we added the light hoops on to a preexisting bumper with a single hoop ... just never considered it I guess .. if it's something you would want on your bumper I'm sure it could be done ... let us know! :pompous:
