Is an 1157 the correct bulb for a FJ40 rear brake light with later combination lamps? What is the OEM brand, Koito?

My truck came with 'made-in-Japan' combo lamps. They accepted the Toyota gaskets and lenses, but the bulbs were only identified with wattage.
The other day I noticed a decent discharge on the ammeter while my foot was on the brake, I figure that that is when I blew a filament, as the ammeter has been looking normal. Luckily, and ironically, a tailgater pulled next to me to let me know that I only had one brake light.

I ordered new bulbs from Toyota for all of my 2/76's lights last month, and was disappointed they weren't KOITO, or made in Japan.
Thailand, Italy, and Germany. They fit and function just fine.
