the bumper looks great. did you weld the arms to the carrier spindles or is it sleeved? what is the thickness of the recovery points?

The main tubes of the bumper are made of 1/4" thick rectangular tubing, the 'V' shaped supports inside the frame rails are 3/16" round tubing, and the main two brackets which run inside the frame rails are 1/2" thick flatbar. The swing-out spindles are from Iron Pig Offroad. I have to say that one of them took significant portion of the impact and wasn't phased. Good stuff. The tow points are from A to Z fabrication, and are 1" thick. I'll estimate the bumpers weight, minus tire and fuel cans around 200-250 pounds.

I caped the underside of the quarter panels using 1/16" sheetmetal tack welded in place. I made a template for the sheetmetal by taking a piece of flat styrofoam, and pressing it against the freshly cut edges of the quarter panels until it made an indentation. Then I cut out the outline created by the indentation. Then I took the cut piece and put it on my sheetmetal as a template. Trace around the foam and wahla. Dirtgypsy, as far as wheeling, I wouldn't know. I'm hoping to make GSMTR my first trip.

Great idea, thanks for the tip!
