Bucket seats for fj45?

I bought a FJ45 long bed not long ago needing much work. The PO has booty fabbed a bench style POS seat in it. I want to put bucket seats and was just checking what you guys have done. There is not a whole lot of room so I am looking for advice. Thanks for your input, Kelly.

i put bucket seats out of 92 vovlo station wagon in my 45, fat pretty nice.

I have buckets from a honda somthamacalit.....

I grafted a lower seat frame from a 40 to my 45 frame to get it all the way across. The seats sit a little high to see stop lights comfortably, but the extra legroom pays off on long hauls.

Will the 40 series buckets seat brackets work in a 45 cab without to much hassle or would it be easier to have something fab like yours pygpen. Thanks.

No, the 40 frame would not clear the fuel filler and the mounting holes do not line up in back. I would have just stretched the 40 frame instead of ruining a 45 frame if I could. So I used the whole 45 frame with the front legs lowered as far as posible, and added part of a 40 frame to stretch it all the way across.
