Sorry to see bud, but on a positive note your mileage will defiantly improve without the leak :)

Yeah, spoke to don also, it started leaking on him last summer, spoke to a few shops and they told him all they would do is the JB weld if he brought it to them so he decided he would just do it himself.

Said it held from then untill Murphey bit me on the way home.

either way, there are no hard feelings towards him. I honestly belive that he sold the truck thinking everything was good and that he was not trying to screw me. Besides he was very generous in the negotiations. All in all I think I still have a good truck for being almost 28 years old. Its birthday is in october.

Good to hear Josh, Don sounded like a good guy sorry to hear the JB weld job didn't hold up.

At those ticket prices those cars must be priceless, take some pictures if the let you maybe no flash photography. I'll be trying to avoid breaking anything while roller skating with my daughter and friends for a birthday outing :)

Nice, the old wrecker and Aston are nice. I had an Orthodontist in Thibodeaux that restored Aston's his office had a garage you drive into and the wall was glass so you could see his car parked on the checkerboard floor with Aston stuff all over the walls. He must of spent some major money ordering those British parts :)

don't you love those geezers showing off their work

It sure was top notch for the times and he did great work. Dad and I was restoring a 55 Chevy a barn find in South Mississippi. We thought we were doing a cool project and this guys building vintage Aston's in his two car garage down the street :)
