I had the same experience with the garage myself, I finally have a place to keep my tools out of the weather with out storing them in the house or backseat of the truck. and my wife still has enough room to park on her side of the garage. and i can work on the cars even when its raining or dark. I'm loving it!!
When we built and first moved in I could park two in the garage. Now with all the crap that comes with 3 kids I get to park outside. So I've added a 12'x27' section and can wrench inside again. Lobbying for a shop now to wrench in so I can park one of mine inside and wrench on the other inside. Got a 20hp antique tractor needing new sleeves/pistons now. It looks like it's blowing as much out of the CC vent as the muffler. Never ending battle for mechanical dominance around here.
I stumbled across this today and couldn't help but think that I could have easily found myself in this predicament. For those of us that weld and use cutting torches this is a must read...

Alright. Where is the best place to get tires mounted around Abbeville/lafeyette? (best should be read as cheapest). I don't need them balanced. Just mounted.

Sounds nice an your right about the battle for mechanical dominance with a fleet to keep up there is always something to work on. I like old tractors lets see it![]()
Nothing special or spectacular like I'd rather have. Grandpa has an old Heston and my preacher man runs an old Farmall rigged up to plant with 3 hoppers. Mine is just a mid 70s Japanese JD clone. Does good for what it is. It could run a 5' tiller across new ground before I over heated it last summer.
