Well the front driveshaft had to be turning in order for that kind of damage to occur. So either your shifter moved and your front drive was engaged that way, or your lockouts were not isolating the front axle shafts from the wheels properly.
That kind of destruction does not just happen while driving in two wheel drive on pavement at 65mph.....

fwiw, i did finally hear back from danny warden about the billet nose cones. even if we can come up with 12 or more people who'd want one, my cost would be just under $300 each and they need to be paid for in advance.![]()
