I rebuilt my brake master, but after assembly the stroke was to short. The only parts to mix up are the springs as the book does not specify which goes where. Is it the thick one going in first?

Thanks Output Shaft, but the drawing does not show the size of the springs. FSM says nothing. But one of the springs is made of thicker thread and longer than the other. I have read a bunch of threads, but not found anything about size.

Check out info at 12:40. He's rebuilding a Toyota MC. Though different than the LC MC, I'll bet his recommendation for spring position is typical of all Toyota MCs

Thanks! Yes, the big one goes in first! I also found another thread discussing this without any conclusion. But the argument for the big one first is that the front piston that goes to front wheels should be released first. Which makes sense.
