Stumbled on some Michter's Small Batch in Folly Beach over the weekend. Never tried but saw it on FJCowboy's post. Very good stuff. Usually try to stay within the $50 or less mark as there are a lot of good choices in that range that are better than $80-$100 bottles. That being said, I rolled the dice on the Widow Jane 10yr for $80 and turns out it is totally worth the extra cash. I would certainly buy again.

I think it was $62 Plus tax
Very good price....friends in Atlanta finding it for about $90, I heard that the Total Wine here in Greenville had a few bottles one morning for mid 60's.

Yea, that's in Pamlico County ...

Found this at ABC store in Hendersonville, NC as wife and i were heading home from Blue Ridge Pkwy. I had purchased several smaller (maybe pint) bottles of it at the Jim Beam Distillery Gift Shop almost 2 years ago and was under the impression then that it was only available for purchase there. I gave all the bottles away as gifts and got very positive responses on the quality so when I saw this I had to get it to taste myself. Anyone have any experience with this? Was $25 for 750ml.

Mine as well! For $23 - $28 a handle, it's a great value! Starting to find it regularly here at $25. The ABC store in Hendersonville had a lot for $28.

Yeah...STILL not available in Charlotte, even tho many stores still have its empty spot on the shelf, but available in lots of other places. I forgot to pick some up in VA last week. :bang:

Picked these up as they are on Meck County's quarterly release for "Boutique Collection" bourbon. Sounds like Bowman starts out of Buffalo Trace distillery and i've heard good things about the 1920. Have not tried either yet.View attachment 2418008

That Boman is good to sip on! Been to their distillery, only about 1.5hrs away and I've only been once... They also did a port finish bourbon which was really tasty!

Sounds good. I'm counting down to 5 so that I can pop the cork one one, or both, of these ;)
Headlight swap looks good BTW. I think we did good changing out the entire assembly rather than using the restore kits. Even with the Rhino, I bet it took me less time loosening the one wing than sanding and buffing would have. Ive been considering ordering a driver side also but it still looks new, and now I spent the funds on bourbon instead...

That 1920 Prohibition Style is good but will kick your butt if not careful!! From experience....

My acquisition from yesterday. Last night, I opened the Basil Hayden followed by Four Roses for a back to back comparison. It's been a little while since I've had BH but it was punchy flavor, smooth, sweet and thick even with a splash of water. I need to give Four Roses another go because my BH pour was a little larger than most. I prefer less sweet flavor profile and initially the FR seemed to provide just that with the same smoothness.

The screw top selection kept me hunting and I settled for Old Forester again (I love this stuff for cheap bourbon). ABC had loads of Evan Williams, Wild Turkey, Jack Daniels (yeah in the bourbon section), and Jim Bean occupying large sections of shelving. Maybe I will choose some random dark, plastic bottle bourbon next time just to mix it up.

I missed this warning by minutes but you aren't kidding! I would argue I was being responsible but man i'm still paying for it right now. The 1920 comes with the heat for sure but is smooth. The JJBowman takes the cake between the two overall for me. I would buy again
