I have rust beginning on the lower portion of a driver's side door that needs looking after before it gets too out of control. I know on the outside I can sandblast/wire brush/POR15 treatment then prime, paint and re-apply seam sealer but, what can I do about the hidden rust that is surely in the inside of the doors?

Anything like a rust converter that can be applied either through the water drain hole at the lower corner of the door or even along the bottom edge of the inside of the door if I pull the door panel off that will help prevent it from rusting further?

Stick it into a shallow rectangular bucket with evapo-rust to chemically dissolve the oxide, rinse, dry, slather por15 into the interior of the door skin.

Baroil/atf and beeswax melted to spray into the nooks and crannies... There is a thread about this.
