Does anyone have a log splitter I can borrow for about a week or so? If so, let me know. Wife says to split the logs we got in order to make more room for new firewood.

Thanks.

One of the hydraulic ones or the one that requires a BFH and a pyramidal piece of metal? A maul works too.

A hydraulic one would be ideal....that'll make short work of my pile.

If no luck here, have you called any of the equipment rental places around town? I'm thinking Highland Rent All would be a good bet. Have you checked Harbor Freight to see what kind of cheap junk they have?

Yes, I know that I can always rent this equipment but was hoping to borrow someone's if possible. Gotta save money where I can.

I wouldn't waste money on buying this type of equipment from HF. :D

Thanks for the suggestions though.

Community rental? Tow it up to Steve and Wendy's property and all the folks that cut wood could split on site.

That'd make for a long, long day!

Spend the night ... and work the next day too. :D

I can see when we don't have guys using ours at work. Don't hold your breath though.

Ok, cool. If it's coming from your work, then I can try to split all wood in one day if that makes it any easier for you.
